Rudramuni B

Rudramuni is advisor, mentor and angel investor with startups in India to scale their business operations and accomplish the exit strategy. He has 30+ years of experience in the IT industry in India and USA. In the past, he was the head of Dell Technologies R&D in Bangalore. Apart from building engineering ownership, he was instrumental in creating the culture of innovation at Dell in India. The R&D center alone produced 500+ patents. Rudramuni was the founder co-chairman of Centre for Digital Transformation at CII-Confederation of Indian Industries to enable Indian small and medium enterprises. Earlier in his career, Rudramuni was key in establishing an engineering center in Bangalore for a US based startup, which was later acquired by Cadence. He is very passionate about building the Academy and Industry relationship. He is a senate member at IIIT Kota while also advising at other engineering institutions. Rudramuni is an honored Distinguished Alumni of NITK.


C P Suresh

Mr Suresh is retired General Manager, worked as part of corporate office in technology planning and strategy. He has extensively worked on terrestrial broadcasting & satellite communication systems. He was involved in the development of various communication terminals and security solutions for IAF & Army. Before his elevation as GM he was involved in the design phase of various upcoming communication projects for IAF and Army.

He has bachelor’s degree in electronics & communication and Masters in applied electronics from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore.

 At Lekha, Mr Suresh holds honorary advisory role. He advice management on technology planning for defense business related public sector and research laboratory. He interact with various agencies to help the engineering projects for successful execution. He plays an important role in identifying and adding new partnerships/collaborations required for successful execution of projects.


Dr. Yenamandra S Rao (Dr. Rao)

Dr. Rao is an independent Consultant in the area of Wireless Networks based in San Diego, California having retired from Qualcomm Inc. as V.P Engineering in 2016. He has had over 30 years of experience in the wireless communication industry which includes R&D, Product Management and Engineering. While at Qualcomm and there-after, he had taught CDMA, UMTS, LTE and 5G wireless courses. His current interests are in the area of CBRS and private LTE Networks and 5G Wireless Networks.

He started his career with the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India with the Telecommunication Research Center and C-DOT and was involved in the design and development of multichannel digital microwave radio equipment, data modems, RF converters for microwave radio and VSATs.

He also worked as a professor at the, Institute of Telecommunications, Oran, Algeria during 1979-1983 teaching graduate level courses in circuit theory, radio and satellite communications. During 1971- 1972, he was with the Telecom Research laboratories, Telecom Australia, Melbourne as a Colombo Plan fellow.

Dr. Rao is a member of the IEEE,a Fellow of the IETE (India) and holds B. E (Hons) (EE), M.Tech (ECE) from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, and a Ph.D degree (ECE) from JU, Calcutta, India. In addition, he has published more than 50 technical papers and edited a book on VSATs.  He has more than 20 patents granted in LTE and wireless charging area for Electric Vehicles. He had been a frequent technical speaker and chaired technical sessions at various International Conferences during the last 30 years.

At Lekha, he holds honorary position as advisor helping the management with critical inputs in managing the 4G IPs and Products. He brings in market strategy for LTE private NW. Dr Rao also helps Lekha in roadmap and technology planning for 5G NR based IPs and reference design.
